1. We are an innovative, pan-Canadian, public, charitable foundation dedicated to helping build new financial capacity that will be put to use investing in charitable actions in this country from sea to sea to sea.

We believe that Canada is a special and unique place where the standard of living and progress for all individuals and their communities is strengthened and advanced by the contributions and services a vibrant, healthy, financially strong charitable sector makes across this country every day.
   
   
3. We believe additional investments of human and financial resources in the country's charitable sector will enhance a society where all individuals have opportunities to thrive and fulfill their personal, social and economic potential.
   
   
4. We believe that the vision, talent and leadership of the charitable sector is fundamental to continually strengthening and building Canadian society.
   
   
5. We believe that a successful, healthy private sector, which understands its inter-relationship with the country's charitable sector, is fundamental to continually strengthening and building Canadian society in the 21st century.

We believe that the well being of Canada and Canadians is inextricably linked to the well being of all nations and as such Change Canada has a responsibility to facilitate charitable actions throughout the globe in partnership with individuals other NGO's and the private sector, from time to time.
   
   
7. We seek to identify, nurture and support those organizations, which most effectively bring together the talents and resources of the many sectors of Canadian society.
